Michael Howlett (Associate Professor), BSocSci. (Hon)(Ottawa), M.A. (UBC), Ph.D. (Queen's), specializes in public policy analysis, Canadian Politcal economy, and Canadian resource and environmental policy. He is co-author of Canadian Natural Resource and Environmental Policy: Political Economy and Public Policy (1997), Studying Public Policy: Policy Cycles and Policy Subsystems (1995), and Canadian Political Economy: AN Introduction (1992 and 1999); co-editor


Michael Howlett teaches political science at Simon Fraser University.
