About the Editor Ian Chilvers is the co-author of The Concise Oxford Dictionary of Art and Artists. Denis Farr is Director of the Courtauld Institute Galleries, London. The late Harold Osborne was the editor of The Oxford Dictionary of Twentieth-Century Art and The Oxford Dictionary of Decorative Arts.
