About the Author

About the Editor George Appleton, a retired Bishop, has had a wide and varied ministry in the Anglican Church. He served for a short time as Archdeacon of London and Canon of St. Paul's Cathedral. He was elected Archbishop of Perth, Western Australia in 1963 and was Archbishop in Jerusalem from 1969 to 1974.
