Synopsis
This large print version of the NRSV Anglicized Bible offers a double-column format and a font which reduces the number of line turns to a minimum, in order to reduce eye strain. The footnotes have been retained in full, and in this edition are set at the foot of the right hand page only. The binding uses a dark green leather-look material with traditional gilt blocking on the front cover and spine. The Bible is sewn for added strength to make sure it is hard-wearing.

Intro by Bruce Metzger. This copy in nearly new condition. Clean, unmarked text. Secure binding. No signs of previous ownership such as the presentation page at beginning. All edges of textblock gilt (gold). Ribbon marker. The leather binding is firm and supple. The title page is just a little wrinkled, but that seems to be about the only flaw. Excellent condition.
