Edward (Ted) M. Kian is Professor and the Welch-Bridgewater Endowed Chair of Sports Media in the School of Media and Strategic Communications at Oklahoma State University. He has authored more than 90 journal articles, and his work has appeared in journals including International Journal of Sport Communication, Journal of Applied Sport Management, Journal of Broadcasting and Electronic Media, Public Relations Review, Sociology of Sport Journal, and Women in Sport and Physical Activity Journal. Dr. Kian is coauthor of Strategic Sport Communication (2016).
Brad Schultz is former Professor of Journalism in the School of Journalism and New Media at the University of Mississippi. His research focuses on how new technologies impact sports journalism.
