Romancing with Life is indeed a pleasure to read, but more than that it gives you an intimate view of the man, the legend, the eternal man of romance. The way he rises into stardom, the milestones in his life and his zest for life are all apparent in each line. Yet on feels a little disappointed in his miserliness in holding back too much, especially when it comes to other luminaries of his times, including his co-stars. One of the best autobiographies I have read. I just lived the entire golden era of Bollywood through the book. Magnificent. I would call it his last blockbuster.
