Book Description Penguin, Toronto, 2005. Soft cover. Book Condition: New. No Jacket. 1st Edition. First edition of this trade paper original. Number count on the publishing page goes from 1 to 10. Possibly the rarest of all the Slade novels. Released before the Onyx paper back novel the first edition was recalled due to a mistake. The publishing company had by accident published 12 pages twice in the middle of the book. So the whole story is there just 12 of the pages are repeated. They automatically recalled the whole shipment and figured instead of reissuing the first edition it was cheap just to continue to print the second edition. It was told to me by Jay Clarke that only 100 copies survived the recall. Since then I have only seen two other copies but they are in a private collection. SIGNED and dated June 7th (the Bloody Words Festival in Toronto) by Jay Clarke. In fine unread condition. Language: eng. Signed by Author(s). Bookseller Inventory # 5072
