Reviewers around the world have sung the praises of Editing Made Easy, which has quickly become the benchmark against which all other books of this kind must be judged. Editing Made Easy is the top-selling book at many major writing centres and is in use at dozens of universities, higher education institutions, adult education centres and journalism schools.

Editing Made Easy is also used to train journalists/editors on many major daily newspapers and in a variety of publishing houses.

Editing Made Easy is on sale in the UK, USA, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, South Africa and New Zealand.

Simply written and to the point, Editing Made Easy is an essential resource for anyone who wants to hone their editing skills or to write better English.

From the Author

The success of Editing Made Easy has been nothing short of overwhelming. The interest and demand have really surprised me.

As a professional newspaper sub-editor (copy editor) and editorial trainer, I wrote this book because I believed there was a need.

Sure, there are plenty of books about editing, but they all seem too complex and too technical - not to mention far too expensive. A person wanting to learn the basics of good editing and plain English has little need for a costly tome largely devoted to explaining the secrets of computerised page design, or to explaining the difference between a transitive and an intransitive verb (yawn).

So I set out to write a 'friendly' book that explains the secrets of editing in no-nonsense, non-technical language - a book that everyone can understand. I also wanted the book to be affordable.

And so Editing Made Easy was born.

I hope you enjoy it and find useful.
