Drawing heavily on his own special experiences, Papandreou uses his considerable imaginative and writerly gifts to portray life inside a singular Greek family. At the heart of FATHER DANCING is the tale of a political dynasty in the throes of dramatic modernisation. Moreover in celebrating the modern, and evoking the ancient spirit of Greece, FATHER DANCING is also a clear and lyrical account of one boy's journey to maturity.
