Exploring the behaviour of dynamic systems and the effect of feedback on such systems, this work explains concepts in the simplest mathematical framework. It develops concepts of design in parallel with those of analysis and includes coverage of the modelling of physical systems. There are two chapters on state space analysis and design, and two on digital computer control, as well as expanded coverage of the classical root locus and frequency response techniques.
