Recently, he was the Program Director and Academic Director of a U.S. Department of State Fulbright American Studies Institute on U.S. Foreign Policy for eighteen scholar-practitioners from all over the world." "I love this book. Very sound approach that will only get better with each edition." "In the past, the NWC has used a 'reader' for this course consisting of relevant articles from the academic community, newspapers, and official documents. The strength of this textbook is that it covers almost all the material in a single location. . . . Offers students an understanding of virtually all factors that contribute to the development and implementation of US Foreign and Defense policy. . . . Will recommend to my successor." " It is really the best single source on all aspects of the policy process." "In a unique blend of substance and theory that comprehensively examines U.S. foreign policy, Rosati has achieved that delicate balance between readability for undergraduates and theoretical relevance for both graduate students and specialists. This textbook clearly has no equal in the field."
