About Worlds End Bookshop (ABA, PBFA, ILAB)
Established in 1986, Worlds End Bookshop is a second-hand and antiquarian bookstore on the S-bend at the western end of the Kings Road in Chelsea. We sell books on a wide range of subjects most of which are sourced privately. Perhaps our primary focus is on modern Firsts Editions (Fleming, Greene, Wodehouse, etc), fine leatherbound sets (Jane Austen, Dickens Shakespeare), photography and art & design. A wide selection of our best books can be viewed at our Chelsea store (open Tues-Sat 10.30am to 6.30pm, Sunday 11am to 5pm, closed Mondays), at premier UK bookfairs (Chelsea Town Hall, ABA Saatchi Gallery, York Racecourse) and via our website at www.worldsendbookshop.com. Or follow us on Instagram at worldsendbookshop. Should you wish to make an appointment to view a book in our store outside opening hours then please call Giles Lyon on his mobile 07981 12 84 91. Online or telephone customers can buy with confidence knowing their book will be honestly described, well packed, and arrive promptly via courier service. In store, they can be assured of a high level of personal service from either Giles Lyon, Walter Kraut or Bernard Jennings. Worlds End Bookshop is a member of the Antiquarian Booksellers' Association (ABA), Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association (PBFA), and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers ILAB). Quality guaranteed in books and service. We are interested in buying books of merit. This is a wide category and not always easily definable; but if you have something you think may be rare or valuable then please get in touch and we can advise you. Also if you need to dispose of a collection of books or library then we can help - we have people who clear books once we have bought what we can. We are also happy to offer valuations and advice free of charge, though in the case of probate or large libraries we may have to charge a basic fee. We undertake to respond to your queries as soon as possible and to the best of our ability. For more information or to enquire about a specific book please call us at +44 (0) 207 352 9376 or email: info@worldsendbookshop.com. Giles Lyon can also be reached on his mobile 07981 128 491.
