Finely bound set in the contemporary aniline calf. Raised bands with red morocco gilt-blocked labels. Spine compartments uniformly tooled in gilt. All edges marbled. Some wear to spine bands and boards as to be expected with age; some of the boards loose. Light scattered foxing. Remains quite well-preserved overall.
