THE MUCH-LOVED PEAK DISTRICT WAS THE FIRST NATIONAL PARK AND IS ON THE DOORSTEP OF 20 MILLION PEOPLE. IT WAS RECENTLY USED AS A FILMING LOCATION FOR THE EPIC TOM CRUISE MISSION:IMPOSSIBLE SERIES.
This is the story of a man and a former street dog, setting off on a mission around the Peaks. It is a personal journey filled with memories, but also filled with challenges. Gray and Brendan are embarking on their most ambitious trip ever, with a series of missions to attempt, including climbing the Peak District’s two mountains. It won’t be easy. It might not be possible. It isn’t even probable. But as long as they don’t pass a tearoom or a bench with a nice view, there’s a very slim chance they might achieve their mission.
This is also a book about enjoying the open countryside and appreciating the moment; it is about trying to live your best life with your best friend.
underdogs IV. MISSION:IMPROBABLE is a humorous travelogue. It is entertaining, engaging, laugh-out-loud funny, sometimes insightful and life-affirming. The relationship between man and dog is heart-warming as they challenge themselves like never before... and then have a sit down and a cup of tea.
Put the kettle on and join them on their adventure.
