How To... The Tale So Far is the first book in an epic urban fantasy series that blends magic, mythology, romance, political intrigue, and found family into one unforgettable adventure.
Amelia "Amy" has always believed she was ordinary. She lives a normal life, worries about school, argues with her best friend, and tries to ignore the strange things that keep happening around her.
Then everything changes.
After a terrifying attack in the woods, Amy discovers that the impossible is real. Pixies, Were creatures, ancient kingdoms, and forgotten gods have been hiding alongside humanity all along. Worse still, she isn't just caught in their war-she's at the very centre of it.
As the secret daughter of a Pixie King, Amy is thrust into a dangerous world of royal bloodlines, deadly enemies, and impossible choices. Hunted by those who see her as either a weapon or a threat, she must learn who she really is before others decide her fate for her.
At her side is Chris Andrews-a fiercely loyal Were wolf sworn to protect her. What begins as reluctant friendship slowly grows into something far deeper, but love comes at a price when centuries of hatred separate their two races.
As Amy's powers awaken, she finds herself facing betrayal, kidnapping, torture, and heartbreaking loss. She must fight to protect the people she loves while resisting the temptation to become the ruthless ruler everyone expects her to be.
Even death isn't enough to stop her.
After returning from Valhalla itself, Amy claims her rightful place as Queen and begins rebuilding a broken kingdom. Determined to end generations of violence, she forges an alliance between Pixies and Weres, reforms ancient laws, and creates the first prison built on justice instead of execution.
But peace never lasts for long.
With enemies still lurking in the shadows and new threats emerging from within her own kingdom, Amy discovers that being Queen is only the beginning of her story.
Filled with action, humour, heartfelt romance, emotional twists, and unforgettable characters, How To... The Tale So Far follows one young woman as she grows from an ordinary teenager into a leader willing to change the future of an entire world.
