In the stories of The Darkness, everyday life opens into fissures where absurdity, nightmare, and disorientation appear. Each tale works like a distorted mirror: it reflects intimate fears, hidden obsessions, and the fragility of the human against forces that blur logic. With an enveloping prose rich in evocative imagery, the collection unfolds dense atmospheres in which the real becomes contaminated by the fantastic and the sinister, inviting the reader to cross thresholds that are rarely traversed without a shiver. The Darkness is more than a collection of stories: it is a journey into shadow, into that ambiguous space where the familiar turns strange and the impossible claims its place in experience. The Darkness is an uncertain territory where the human looks into its own abyss.
