The inscriptions and translations by Percy E. Newberry. John Murray, London, 1899. First edition. In-4, frontispiece, xvi & 391 pages, 29 plates. Original Blue Cloth. Board with large gilt Winged Vulture and title on cover. Gilt lettering on spine. Frontispiece, tissue guard, 391 pages, with plans and illustrations (hieroglyphic prayers & reliefs), collated and complete. Overall condition is very good. Attractive cover. Gilt is bright. Some splitting to paper over inside hinges but binding is strong and sound. Spine toned with wear to top and bottom of spine and board tips. Spine has a slight lean to it with small label affixed.
