Jessup; an additional inscription by Jessup's cousin on the front endpaper. Jessup, a United Nations ambassador at large, served as a judge on the International Court of Justice at The Hague. In a chapter in "Mon septennat," Auriol recalled the role Jessup played in ending the Soviet blockade of West Berlin.
