This is a fictionalized biography of William Parker, and escaped slave who defied the United States government in the Christiana Riot of 1851, and event that triggered the biggest treason trial in American history. The Village Booksmith is located on U.S. 4 in the center of Hudson Falls, NY. Hudson Falls lies halfway between Saratoga Springs and Lake George. It abuts with Glens Falls and Queensbury. The store is open year around, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. The Store has been at this location since 1976. We maintain an inventory over 100,000 titles. The store is clean and has good lighting. Books are organized by category. Most sections are shelved alphabetically by author.
