Light stains to boards, front endpaper clipped, leaves crisp and bright. In the two color illustrated dust jacket: price clipped, spine with light decal scar, tape shadow on flaps, tape reinforcements verso, A solid, presentable copy. Classic biography of the Hudson's Bay Company Columbia River Chief Factor and Superintendent at Fort Vancouver who played a crucial part in the Oregon Controversy, in a signed early edition with dust jacket.
