Both published volumes in Conversation Tree Press's ongoing, highly acclaimed series of weird fiction. These are new copies as received directly from the publisher, opened only to check for flaws, of which there are none, and to take photos. External photos are of these copies, internals are stock images used to limit handling. If you've been holding off buying 'Cold Print' because 'On the Borderland' is sold out, here's your chance to get both with series rights to future Weird editions included. The limitation is expected to drop back down with volume 3 and will quickly sell out just as 'Borderland' did. 'THE HOUSE ON THE BORDERLAND' is limited to only 225 unnumbered copies, signed by S.T. Joshi and Dave McKean. Fully bound in dark green Toile du Marais book cloth with Dave McKean's emblematic artwork inset onto the front board and titling foil-stamped on the spine. McKean has contributed 29 full colour plates plus 12 pen-and-ink illustrations printed letterpress. Colour artwork printed via four-colour lithography, with text and pen-and-ink artwork printed letterpress by Hand & Eye Editions on GF Smith Max Absolute White 150gsm. The book is enclosed by a custom slipcase handmade by Ludlow Bookbinders, wrapped in dark green Toile du Marais book cloth with a Suedel-lined interior. 296 pages. Trim size of 170mm by 240mm (6.7'' by 9.5''). 'COLD PRINT' is limited to only 400 unnumbered copies, signed by Ramsey Campbell, S.T. Joshi and Marcela Bolívar. Fully bound in premium, dark grey book cloth with a linen finish. Sveta Dorosheva's emblem artwork is letterpress-printed and inset onto the front board. Titling is foil-stamped on the spine. There are 13 full colour illustrations by Marcela Bolivar, a headpiece and two tailpiece decorations by Sveta Dorosheva, and title calligraphy by Svetlana Molodchenko. 263 pages. Trim size of 170mm by 240mm (6.7'' by 9.5''). Letterpress printed by Nomad Letterpress on Munken Pure Rough Cream 120gsm paper. We take great care to write accurate and detailed descriptions for all items. In the unlikely event that you feel a book does not match its description, please contact us as soon as you receive it and we will do our best to resolve the problem. If you choose to return a book because you've ordered the wrong one or changed your mind, we will be happy to refund the cost of the book.
Books must be returned within 14 days and in the original condition and similar secure packaging. Please get in touch before returning any item and make sure you obtain a free certificate of posting from the Post Office.
Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.
Information regarding the right of withdrawal
Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to Bath and West Books, Bath, SOM, United Kingdom, +44 01761 434585, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
- The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.
Shipping terms
Orders are sent out within 2 business days and are always securely and professionally packaged and fully insured. Default postage costs are based on orders weighing up to 2.2 lbs, or 1 kg (book + packaging materials). If your book order is heavy and/or oversized, we may contact you to let you know an additional postage charge is necessary. We will never take payment until extra costs have been agreed by you.
The cost of shipping to Europe by Surface Mail (i.e. Standard Shipping option) is often as much as by Airmail and it is actually higher than Airmail for any package weighing 800 gms or more. As a result, we always ship to Europe by Airmail. Surface Mail can be significantly cheaper when shipping to the Rest of the World so both options are quoted but delivery times can be very lengthy so we do not recommend this service.
