Item description from seller

One of 300 copies, signed by both artists on a label from Galerie Sprüth which is mounted on the tape and additionally signed and numbered by both artists on reverse of the casing. ?The film premiered at documenta 8 and captures a well-orchestrated sequence in which everyday materials (plastic bags, tires, balloons, candles) are set in motion to create a Rube Goldberg machine-like domino effect where simple tasks are executed by elaborate and unnecessary series of events. Fischli and Weiss unravel a notion of progress tied to efficiency and embrace the absurd and unruly as essential values of daily life. It documents a long causal chain assembled of everyday objects, resembling a Rube Goldberg machine. The tape was checked in a professional film studio and is in fine condition.
