Laid-in: Original Limited Editions Club envelope (6 in. x 9 in.) with copy of Limited Editions Club Monthly Newsletter (June 1975, Number 488), which discusses the design of this publication. White title on dark green paper label to black slipcase. Very light rubbing to slipcase. Originally published in 1849, this was Thoreau's first book and it cost him several hundred dollars, though only 219 copies sold.
