Item description from seller

One page autograph letter signed (with initials) to a correspondent named "Harry." The letter transmits what Sheehan calls "an outline of the story of Luigia, Marchesa di SanFelice." Sheehan says he has written the three page carbon typescript "in a great rush." Dated April 10, but with no year and written on Shelboure Hotel, Dublin, Ireland, stationary. The letter is 5 x 8 inches and 14 lines. The typescript is 8 1/2 x 11 inches. Sheehan (b. 1899, d. 1975) was an American journalist and novelist. He is best known for his autobiography, "Personal History," which was awarded the first National Book Award for Most Distinguished Biography, 1933. It was made into an Alfred Hitchcock film in 1940.
