The front cover features an oval miniature portrait of Goldsmith under glass, set within a quatrefoil panel, the whole elaborately tooled in gold. A.e.g. Moire silk ensheets; gilt turn-ins. Preserved in the original morocco-edged marbled slipcase. Very fine; entirely unrestored.
