Jay. Unique Untitled Drawing. New York(?): Jay/ Irving Klaw, 1950s (?). Single Sheet. 14 1/2" x 11", roughly. Near fine. Art by Jay, and other artists in Klaw's stable such as Eric Stanton, Gene Bilbrew, etc is rare and coveted. Unique signed, but undated pencil drawing of an armless, winged woman with a misogynistic text by Jay, the pseudonymous artist who produced drawings for seminal mid century sleaze and fetish entrepreneur Irving Klaw. The presence of a plate number suggests this drawing was published. Heavy or oversized items may require additional shipping.
