Shows two horizontal folds from being folded for mailing, staple holes in the upper left corner, light ruffling, partial punch hole to the left-hand edge. Sent to Senior Editor, William ("Bill") Targ, (1907-99), at G. P. Putnam's Sons, Publishers, New York. "November 16, 1977 My dear Bill: Thanks for the autographed copy of Art's book. He is a favorite of mine and I know I will relive many happy moments with it. Join me for lunch at the Algonquin whenever you are free.
