About this Item
Dated August 20, 1990, one page. A brief cover letter written to James Harmon, the editor of a volume of essays entitled Take My Advice: Letters to the Next Generation from People Who Know a Thing or Two. Shacochis contributed the essay "Surviving Bad Advice," which opens the book. This letter transmits that piece [not present] and comments on it briefly: "It doesn't have the sex appeal I wanted it to, but that's the breaks. I gave it my best shot. Wished I could have been light-hearted, but it's not the season." He also comments on a couple of others' pieces, and shares information about other writers, apparently in response to Harmon's queries. One corner folded; one small stain, a bit of edge wear. Very good. An glimpse behind the scenes of an interesting project. Seller Inventory # 029171
