7.25" x 10.5". Faint fold marks, easily fine. Dated 30 April 1971 on his Westport, Connecticut stationery to Helen (Heinrich). A warm personal letter addressing a recent dinner together, his meeting with another children's book author, Jim McCrea, who Heinrich introduced him to, and enclosing a carbon of a letter to artist Stow Wengenroth. The carbon of that letter is present, as is the original postmarked envelope. Seller Inventory # 321662
