An interesting archive of material relating to June Bingham Birge, the author of Courage to Change: An Introduction to the Life and Thought of Reinhold Niebuhr (1961), U Thant: The Search for Peace (1966), and "Triangles," a play about the women around Franklin D. Roosevelt. The archive contains letters from Martin Stone (lawyer turned producer, who represented Jackie Robinson and Harry Truman, and created the "Howdy Doody Show"), who requested that Jerry Bock read June's "Triangles"; two letters from the noted musical theatre composer Bock to Stone dismissing June's libretto; and a letter from June to Stone thanking him for his efforts.
