Signed by the author to front endpaper, with inscription "with the best wishes, yours sincerely". Translated by Nora Wydenbruck. With photographic frontispiece. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Foxing more noticeable towards the start and end of the book. Pencil inscriptions to front pastedown. A few dog-eared corners. Text block edges very foxed. Boards have some edge wear, with moderate bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are slightly crushed and frayed. Moderately scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Gilt is bright. Book has a slight forward lean. Seller Inventory # 1649364697DPB
