223 pp. This is #674 of a Special Hoosier Edition limited to 1,000 copies and signed by the author. Spine somewhat slanted. DJ has some edgeweear and shallow chipping at spine and flap edges. A nice, attractive copy. "Here are Mr. Wilson's delightful impressions of leisurely days full of a savor not easily attainable in our time. They were days full of wonder about his remarkable grandfathers and the parts they played in the Mexican and Civil Wars; awe, amusement, and affection in the presence of an extraordinary father; annoyance at the undue sentimentality of an older sister; marvel at his little mother's spunk and composure; laughter at the antics of boys playing pranks. In the course of these reminiscences there are inevitable moments of sadness, but the over-all effect is such that we find ourselves reveling in Mr. Wilson's charmingly evocative experiences of boyhood."; 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
