Former owner name on front end paper, otherwise a clean unmarked book with a tight binding and a faded cover. A former reader placed short vertical lines in the margins . These pencil lines have been erased but you can still tell most the lines were there previously. Signature of Toynbee pasted in at front. Signature of Acosta Nichols Jr is on the first free end page beneath the Toynbee signature. Acosta Nichols Jr. was the author of FORTY YEARS MORE : A HISTORY OF GROTON SCHOOL, 1934-1974 as well as history teacher who taught at the Groton School in Massachusets. Signatures guaranteed authentic.
