92 page hardcover with music example illustrations. Inscribed on front free end paper to the prior owner ( composer Otto Luening). Historic and Analytic Commentaries by Shepherd. Full brown cloth exterior with title in gold on front cover (bright) and spine (faint). Interior is unmarked, tight and clean. Privately printed by the author. Nicely done and good to very good condition.
