Dark green cloth with titling gilt on the spine and front cover; cream colored paper dustjacket, with titling, ads, etc. in green. The endpapers show light tanning; one page corner has been formerly turned down, the rather fragile and scarce dustjacket shows a one inch tear to the lower left of the front panel, some small edge chips or splits, some tanning & dusting. Inscribed and signed on the front free endpaper: William G. Mather with much gratitude from the author CA Alington Cleveland [Ohio] March 1. [19]35. With the bookplate of Cleveland, Ohio based book collector, and recipient of this book, William G. Mather (1857-1951), on the front paste-down endpaper.
