Dark green boards with gold-colored lettering. The boards and spine are slightly bumped. The binding is firm. The volume is signed by the author but not numbered. The glossy pages are clean but tanned. The bottom right corner of the page edges are soiled from handling. The dust jacket is chipped, bumped, and torn. The volume is profusely illustrated with photographs and drawings. There are 11 full color prints, each is protected by tissue paper that is embossed with texture resembling a cut log. 528 pp. Not ex-library. Meticulously documented history of logging railroads throughout the United States.
