. Fine+ in Fine+ dust jacket. #1 Fargo Adventure. A fine copy in matching slipcase, signed by both authors on the limitation page. Lettered editions are lettered A-ZZ and come in a fully marbled slip-case with custom boards and end papers. "Thousands of years ago, two superpowers of the ancient world went to war, and a treasure of immeasurable value was lost to the shadows of history. In 1800, while crossing the Pennine Alps with his Grand Reserve Army, Napoleon Bonaparte stumbles across a startling discovery. Unable to transport it, Napoleon creates an enigmatic map on the labels of twelve bottles of rare wine. When Napoleon dies, the bottles disappear-and the treasure is lost again. In the present day, treasure hunters Sam and Remi Fargo are exploring the Great Pocomoke Swamp in Delaware when they are shocked to discover a WWII German U-boat. Inside, they find a bottle from Napoleon's "Lost Cellar. " Fascinated, the Fargos set out to find the rest of the collection. But another connoisseur of sorts is hunting his own prize, and the Lost Cellar is his key to finding it. That man is Hadeon Bondaruk-a half-Russian, half-Persian millionaire-and the treasure will be his, no matter what.".…

Store description
Rare Collections formed as a celebration of passion. A passion for the printed word, for history, for rare finds and new discoveries. We specializes in collectible items with a focus on rare books and prints. We have a particularly strong range of modern first editions; signed books; speculative fiction and Livre d’Artiste books, as well as original prints and maps. PLEASE NOTE: Our Abebooks profile is listed via my Australian Business. However the book store is not based in Melbourne. **We are based in Cape Town, South Africa.** This is due to payment issues on Abebooks side for South African banks. This was a solution Abebooks and we came up with together to bypass the Payment gateway issue for right now. All our other selling platforms correctly displays our place of origin as Cape Town, South Africa. ****A Note on USA Tariffs**** Books and prints are exempt from the 2025 US tariff measures (printed and informational materials are protected under IEEPA exemptions.) Orders to the United States continue to be unaffected, and we are couriering as normal. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.…
