Gilt-stamped gray buckram; 8vo;130pp; illustrated with b/w and color photos; color photographic dust jacket. The book that launched Nemes' career as the American expert on North Country spiders, or "soft-hackles" as they are referred to in the States. Originally published by Chatham in 1975 and here privately printed by Nemes in 1988. This copy in VG condition in like jacket, signed by Nemes on the half title page with an author-tied fly mounted above.
