This 6.0 x 8.5 inch, 286 page hardcover book with dust wrapper is the First Edition of this title in 1947 - with that date on the title and - First Edition - showing on the copyright page. This book is in near fine condition with very little time-wear showing to the brick-red cloth covers with silver titling on the spine. The book is Signed by the Author on the ffep - with that same page showing two separate stamped names of a previous owner - with that same stamp also on the title page. Beyond that the text pages are in strictly fine condition with the uneven cut fore-edges of the text block showing very little wear. The dust wrapper is in very good condition with very definite wear showing to the edges and with a two-inch closed tear running along a spine fold - but the wrapper is complete and now protected by a mylar cover - with the $4.00 price showing unclipped on the front flap. 286 pages.
