About this Item
The great Belgian violinist (1854-1929) studied with Heynberg and Leonard at the Li ge Conservatory, taking 1st violin prize at the age of 13 and the gold medal at 15. He toured Europe from 1874-1882 and went to America in 1883. He opened his own school in New York in 1908. A wonderful photo, mounted on board, inscribed and signed ÒOvide MusinÓ across the photo and the mount, followed by the date. (image is 4 1/2 x 6 1/4 inches, mount is 7 x 9 1/2 inches, edges of mount a bit worn, cut unevenly, but can easily be trimmed). Seller Inventory # 113
