German actor of stage and screen, reknowned for portraying the stereotypical blond, arrogant and ruthless German; best known for his portrayal of Baron Maximilian von Heune in Bob Fosse's 1972 Oscar-winning film "Cabaret." A large and bold scrawled signature in blue ballpoint on a heavy stock 5" X 3" card, n.p., dated by him 2 September 1988 at upper right. Fine. With original envelope. Accompanied by a fine 10" X 8" glossy photograph, a still scene from the 1970 British war drama film "The McKenzie Break" showing Griem (submariner Kapit�n zur See Willi Schl�ter) standing alongside hordes of German soldiers behind barbed wire at a POW camp in Scotland.
