This is the ninth book in Ruth Rendell's Inspector Wexford series. First editions are uncommon in the market, particularly with dust jackets, and signed copies are scarcer still. So this is a much sought after title. This copy is near fine in black cloth with gilt titles on the spine. Just slight bumping at the spine ends and very slight soiling on the half title page. No other marks or damage. The clipped dust jacket has been in a protective plastic sleeve and so it excellent. Signed by Rendell on the title page. BI19.
