Author's personal copy with his personal bookplate reading 'John Preston True' beneath a seated scholar and a quote from Ecclesiasticus all within an arts and crafts border. With initials 'CWW' likely the bookplate designer. 311pp. B/W frontispiece and five subsequent plates illustrated by Clyde O. de Land. 12mo, sewn binding in tan publisher's cloth stamped in brown, yellow and white. Some trivial rubbing to the extremities, NEAR FINE other wise, very clean and fresh.
