A smart second edition of this dramatic poem from English writer Sydney Dobell, with the author's kind regards. Second edition. Bentley's Railroad Library. With an inscriptions from the author to the title page that reads "with the author's kind regards." A dramatic poem dedicated to the interests of political liberty in Italy. The story is marked by pathos, energy and passionate love of freedom, overlaid with monologue. Written by Sydney Thompson Dobell, under the pen name Sydney Yendys, an English poet and critic, and a member of the so-called Spasmodic school. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, sound with rubbing and light bumping to the extremities. Light fading to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot. Light age toning and further spotting to the endpapers. Author's ink inscription to the title page. Very Good.
