Additionally Robert has worked on a number of collaborative projects drawing attention to threatened areas and habitats. He has worked extensively in France illustrating ornithological guides and working in the Parc des Ecrins in the French Alps as Artist in Residence. In 1999 the Pica Press published "Towards the Sea", an illustrated diary of Robert's work throughout a typical year.
