“Every once in a while a love story comes along that is nothing short of amazing and has a gifted storyteller backing it.” Darlene Oakley―Acquisitions Editor, Lachesis Publishing
“A lifelong and avid reader, I have consumed thousands of novels. Never has one been more delicious than Pewter Angels, and for the first time in memory I could not resist a second helping. Indeed, I read it twice, each time more than satisfying.”
Wendy Ward―Author and CEO, Davis-Ward Centre for People Excellence.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Pewter Angels, Book 1 in the Angelic Letters Series, begins the tenderhearted saga of life, love, angels and miracles, which is deeply inspiring and laced with pearls of wisdom. Over a span of four decades, the story follows the lives of two fifteen year olds, Henry Pederson and Jenny Sarsky, who meet in the summer of 1956 when Jenny, along with her guardian angel and her family, move into the house three doors down. Falling in love instantly the moment their eyes meet, their dramatic bond is aided along by their guardian angels, creating a powerful spiritual connection between them that withstands the test of time.
Mr. Engelmann, an endearing and profoundly wise mentor living out the word of God, comes into Henry’s life, providing him with powerful insights and valuable life lessons that carry strength, wisdom and hope, making this saga both a heart-wrenching love story and an uplifting journey of spiritual discovery.
The characters are so real that their sadness, tears and joys fly off the pages and become ever entrenched in the mind and heart of the reader.
Pewter Angels brings the reader on an inspiring yet tumultuous journey through life’s struggles and victories, and the miracle of deep, enduring love. Henry and Jenny’s 40 year spiritual odyssey, revealed through the Angelic Letters series, becomes an experience long remembered; a hard-to-put down story spanning six novels with an ending only angels can bring about.
Whether you are fourteen or one hundred, male or female, Pewter Angels will grab your heart, squeeze it and hold it to the very last page.
Henry Ripplinger’s clear, heartfelt, writing style and the captivating story he spun has placed Pewter Angels in the top ten best selling books in Canada and is the recipient of two Gold Medal Awards in international competition.
