Presentation copy to Rev. D. Arthur Cataldo, signed by the author in 1954. With many b&w illustrations throughout. Red cloth boards with gilt titles, original dj, ruffled at edges, now in protective mylar. 4to, 456pp, fold out map, with 2pp printed promotional piece for the book with extract from Peekskill Evening Star of 1952; and 8pp issue of Monthly Echo Vol. CIII, No. 6, June 1953, that has 1pp bio of Chester Smith. Promotional piece ruffled at edges.
