Colour frontis of County Hall, 36pp inc 14 plates inc double-page plan of the principal floor. 25x21, sewn card wraps. Covers a little dusty and sunned, couple of small chips, damp mark on front and ffep. This copy signed on the title page by Ken Livingstone, undated but presumably marking his leadership of the GLC. An excellent, very detailed, account of the new building. All the illustrations, plans etc are of the new building and none of the usual images of 'worthies'. 152 architects entered schemes. The assessors, who included R Norman Shaw and Sir Aston Webb, unanimously accepted Ralph Knott's submission as the best.
