Item description from seller

10 1/4 X 8 3/8 Inches. Signed and inscribed by Alberts to Myra Janco Daniels on the FFEP. Stated "Second Printing" copy. Original reinforced binding w/out DJ as issued. Myra Janco Daniels (1925-2022), founder and CEO of the Naples Philharmonic Center for the Arts. Myra was also 1965 Advertising Woman of the Year and wife of Draper Daniels, the adman who created "The Marlboro Man" and the basis for "Don Draper" on AMC's Madmen TV show. At the age of 25, Myra started her own advertising business in Terre Haute, Indiana which was later purchased by Draper Daniels. She was a longtime collaborator of Draper's and together the couple achieved amazing success in the world of advertising in the mid-20th Century. In retirement, Myra founded the Naples Philharmonic Center and created a world class art museum which she led for over 20 years. Giving a slight nod to Charles Lindbergh, the Pulitzer Prize-Winning author A. Scott Berg once dubbed Myra "The Spirit of Naples.".

Store description

Back in Time Rare Books is the home of Mike Cotter and his traveling band of misfit books! Mike has been in the rare books business in some form or fashion for nearly twenty years. The older he gets, the more his collection starts to resemble his bedroom at the age of 10. The stock at Back in Time is officially classified as General Antiquarian, but the truth of the matter is that the stock is a smattering of historical pieces that have found their way beyond the gates of Endor. You see, Mike has two great loves in his professional life - American History & Pop Culture of the late 20th Century. Back in Time is a member of the Florida Antiquarian Booksellers Association (FABA) as well as the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America (ABAA). USPAP compliant appraisal work provided for those in need of insurance and/or IRS appraisals.
