Hard back binding in publisher's original green cloth covers, gilt title and author lettering to the spine and to the front cover. 8vo. 8'' x 5½''. The adventures of an American woman who came to England to search for an ideal farmhouse in Kent. Contains 271 printed pages of text. Possibly signed by the author to the half-title page 'To Frances A. Baker - From her sister Louise, Nov. 28th, 1914.' Below which is inscribed 'Ena Mary Jones, March 1930.' Louise R. Baker is the author of 'The Old Monday Farm', published in 1905. Spine slightly age darkened and in Very Good condition, no dust wrapper. Member of the P.B.F.A. RURAL VILLAGE LIFE.
